Venturing into the CBD with a pocket full of stickers, a bunch of leaflets, and a song in my heart, I decided to swing by a quiet spot where I had previously seen some anti-capitalist posters wheatpasted. At the time, I hadn’t any stickers on me nor a permanent marker with which to leave some words of solidarity, so I wanted to see if the anonymous wheatpaster had left anything new and whether they might be interested in making contact sometime. However, I arrived at the spot and was disappointed to see that not only were the posters gone, but someone else had left their mark.

I recognised the name and symbology immediately, neo-Nazi group Action Zealandia have been on the radar for a while now (TAFA have been keeping close tabs on them here) and it is not the first time someone from AWSM has encountered their propaganda. It is, though, the first time I have seen anything from them here in Kirikiriroa. Needless to say I took the opportunity to dispose of their garbage, and will do so every time I see it.

As always, remember to exercise caution and situational awareness if you are removing stickers, sometimes it’s safer to cover them with your own or scratch them to smithereens with a coin or tool. And as always, Nazis fuck off.
